Maca root is a plant which, due to its unique properties, provides the body with valuable vitamins and minerals. Maca root - contraindications

The plant does not indicate any major contraindications for use. It is non-toxic and therefore should not cause side effects. Nevertheless, undesired effects may occur, especially if the dosage is inappropriate. Persons who may be allergic to the plant should absolutely stop using preparations containing maca root. It is not recommended to use the plant in case of kidney failure, inflammation of the prostate gland. Pregnant and breast-feeding women should also give up taking preparations with maca root.
